Hail and well met!
I was doing some research on the web last few days concerning things piratical, and fell upon the site here. Specifically, I've been looking for information about the ships of the late 17th. But the page on appearance was nice to see.
Good job so far on the site. Very impressive. I see a few pages still under construction, but hopefully they are being worked on. More, more, more!

Yes, indeed, they are being worked on, but the consistency of my efforts has been scattershot at best. I'm hoping that the change of seasons will mean fewer responsibilities outside and more time to work on Piece of Eight, my labor of love.
Welcome!

Avast! Heave to and prepare to be boarded....
I just found this site and have been enjoying it greatly. As I read the welcome I was reminded of a misdeed of my youth. A friend and I each purchased a somewhat costly (and quite fecthing, if I do say so myself) outfit to wear clubbing one night. The next day she returned them, explaining to the sales clerk that they had a been a gift from a friend, and were really not to her taste.
I look forward to being educated in the ways of the Brethren as I check this website again and again.

Hello all!!
Henry Every here and I came across your web site just recently and LOVED IT!! My piratical interests lie in regards to Rhode Island, New York, the Massachusetts Bay Colony, the Carolinas, etc. and what life was like for pirates in these places during the 'Golden Age of Piracy.'
So...in other words, Henry Every, Thomas Tew, Thomas Dover, etc.
But don't get me wrong!! I'm interested in ANYTHING pirate related from that era....Madagascar to the Americas!!
Glad to be aboard...
Take care,
Mr. Every |

Welcome, Mr. Avery!
Please feel free to share what you know about the pirates of America's northeast coast. It's a subject I know little about.
Cheers,
